In this paper I have presented an analytical solution to the problem of plane Poiseuille flow in a channel filled with a porous medium Nield et al have expressed it in terms of elliptic integrals I express it in an equivalent but a more conventional form in terms of Weierstrass elliptic function I also present the R code to plot the velocity profile and compute the flux
