Abstract

To trace maximum power points (MPP) d-axis and q-axis stator currents are required to be controlled individually, and decoupled for grid voltage support and reactive power injection during the grid faults. A decoupling method for Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) tied with grid is presented by Exact Feedback Linearization (EFL) based on differential geometry. State feedback linearization conditions are illustrated to check whether the nonlinear system is linearizable or not. State feedback control law which decouples active and reactive powers. The control law is simplified and designed to ensure its realization in practical engineering. The d-q modeling of DFIG is carried out using MATLAB/Simulink in term of synchronous reference frame. The simulations result shows that the proposed control scheme can exactly linearized the DFIG system.
