Abstract
ABSTRACTWe introduce the notion of evolution coalgebra as an algebraic structure to describe the backwards evolution of non-Mendelian genetic systems and establish their connection with evolution algebras. We study their main properties and consider evolution coalgebras endowed with genetic realization.
