Abstract
Abstract: An essay on living life with ALS as it progresses throughout the body. We learn the first-person perspective of an individual living with ALS. The narrator illustrates the slow disintegration of the neurons and muscles, as well as the loss and inabilities to perform everyday tasks. The story shows how the ending is known yet it still surprising and unknown when reached. The narrator also shows the interactions of life in his home and with his family and friends.
