Abstract
Flags are used to represent countries, states, provinces, and a host of other organizations. An official country flag has specific dimensions for the height, width, and other embellishment on the flag. In fact, all country flags are rectangles except the flag of Nepal, which is an irregular concave pentagon. A collection of flags from around the world adorns a wall of the Scotia Plaza building in Toronto, Canada (see photograph 1).
