Abstract

Objective To assess the possibility of identifying HLA-A, B and DRB genotypes by flow beads high resolution reagents. Methods Flow-beads high resolution reagents were used to detect HLA-A,B and DRB1 alleles in 631 healthy people, and the proportion of high resolution results were calculated. Results Among 631 samples, only three(0. 475%)samples could be identified directly. However, we found by ASHI and NMDP standards that the distribution of HLA-A, B, DRB1 and all three loci were 489 (77. 50%) samples, 520(82.41%)samples, 582(92. 23%)samples and 374(59. 27%)samples respectively. Conclusion The flow-beads high resolution reagents could be used to analyze high resolution results in clinical settings. Key words: HLA; flow-beads; high resolution
