He is also Director, Roger Kaufman & Associates. He was Director, Office for Needs Assessment & Planning at Florida State. He is the recipient of the Member for Life and the Thomas Gilbert Award from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), where he also has been past president and is a CPT. He has authored and coauthored 35 books and more than 230 articles on strategic planning, strategic thinking, needs assessment, evaluation, and management. His PhD is in Communications from the New York University. He does and has consulted with public and private organizations in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Latin America, Canada, and the US. She has extensive experience in the evaluation of training as well as the application of technology to teaching and learning that covers a broad range of development, delivery, implementation, and impact issues. She is an advocate of strategic approaches where evaluation is a collaborative activity—undertaken with people, not to them. She is a past president of the ISPI Melbourne Chapter.
