Abstract

Objective This research is based on outstanding doctor program, to form the medical curriculum integration model, to evaluate the effect, to provide data base for the full implementation of medical education model reform in Anhui Medical University. Methods Since 2013, 2 administrative classes are randomly selected from new students of the five-year clinical medicine annually (3 years, altogether 182 students) as experimental group annually, conducting curriculum integration model; another 2 administrative classes (3 years, altogether 183 students) are selected as control group in the same way, conducting traditional curriculum model. At the end of the first round of basic medicine curriculum integration teaching, issue questionnaires to the two groups and their teachers, evaluate the effect of the implementation of medical course integration through the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Data management is by Epidata 3.1 data entry, analysis is by SPSS 17.0. This research mainly uses rank test and t test to analyze the differences between the experimental group and the control group. Results The satisfaction to experimental group centered on organ system of the integration class is 90.1%, the score of integrated basic medical courses module rating in 85-90 points. The average course of 2013 and 2015 grade are higher than control group, the differences is statistically significant (P< 0.05). Conclusions The effect of integration curriculum showed that the teachers and students in experimental group hold positive attitudes on the questionnaire of integrated curriculum implementation effect and proved its feasibility. But it still needs further improvement in the course content, teaching team and material construction. Key words: Basic medicine; Curriculum integration; Curricalam model; Evaluation
