Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of the integration of basic medical Curriculum to the learning adaptability of medical students. Methods 4 classes of 579 students in a medical college of 2013 grade to 2015 grade were chosen as the research object, 2 classes of students in each grade were selected as the experimental group, and the part of the basic medical curriculum were integrated teaching; the rest 6 classes of medical students as the control group, using the traditional training program for teaching. Using the ULAI to test the differences of the learning adaptability of these medical students after the end of the teaching. Results The total score and 5 dimension score of ULAI of the experimental group were all higher than the score of control group, and the differences in learning motivation, learning ability and learning attitude has statistically significant (P 0.05). The total score and 5 dimension score of ULAI of the experimental group of 2013 grade were generally higher than the score of control group of 2013 grade, but only the difference in learning motivation, learning ability and learning attitude has statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The learning content is similar and has the certain consistency basic medicine curriculum to carry on the reasonable integration, not only can reduce knowledge of the same repetitive learning, improve learning efficiency, to enhance the learning adaptability of medical students also has certain positive role.
