Abstract

Improvement of the system of urban planning management of cities increases both their investment attractiveness and attractiveness for the lives of citizens. Official websites of cities as the basic source of information about the city become especially relevant in the context of high population migration and increasing competition between cities as centers of settlement. The study is devoted to the current state of the policy of using web technologies in the field of urban management adopted in the largest cities of Russia based on the analysis of 50 cities. The study provides recommended measures that cities should take to improve and develop their technology assets. Assessment of the state of the technologies used in urban management and assessment of the compliance of cities with the needs of residents, property owners, business owners and investors are presented in the paper.
