Abstract
ABSTRACT TWO commercial diverter-type A mechanical samplers, Dean Gamet Manufacturing Company's Vane type, Model 6800 and Inter-national Stanley Company's Swing Flow type, Model S-F were evaluated for sampling grain. The samplers were compared with a Dean Gamet Manu-facturing Company's Diverter type, Model 3000 which had been pre-viously evaluated. The two samplers performed as well as the Model 3000 and are recommended for sampling grain. The samplers should not be used at less than a 40 deg angle from horizontal.
