Abstract

Computer competences in regional terms - at the NUTS2 level, i.e. voivodeships are considered in this paper. The analyses were carried out on the basis of data provided by the Central Statistical Office of Poland and the outcomes of the survey on Human Capital. The dispersion and the degree of the spatial autocorrelation of variables describing various dimensions of digital skills were evaluated. The study indicates the existence of some disparities among regions in the field of computer skills. A bigger dispersion relates to the advanced skills. It was found that there are regions characterized by high values in each of the considered aspects, as well as regions with low values in each of them.
