Abstract
A contact device for heat and mass transfer devices with the ability to maintain the uniformity of flow distribution over the cross section of the device is proposed. The article presents the ranges of stable and efficient operation for changing loads in the liquid phase for various contact devices. The conducted research makes it possible to select the most preferred designs of contact devices and their standard sizes in order to ensure a wide range of stable operation, taking into account the efficiency of the separation or absorption processes in column mass transfer devices.
