Abstract

The modern world is constantly changing. The field of education is no exception. It faces multiple challenges and has to meet contemporary requirements. One of these requirements is the quality of the teaching act, which depends to a large extent on the quality of the staff trained in this field. In this article we analyze the process of evaluating the professional development of human resources in education as an important element of educational management. The evaluation is analyzed in terms of its motivating role for continuous professional development and the possibility to contribute to increasing the performance of the education system as a whole. This is because the reform of education in the Republic of Moldova has the purpose to provide high quality education, which in turn depends on an important role of the quality of the evaluation of the human resource involved.
