Abstract
Campuses playing a big role in the eco-system of the city since the university it’s the main place for students, scientists, teachers, and academicians. It’s important to show how to help the environment from the beginning and make it a basic rule for the future, something common and must have in our lives. The green building rating system such as LEED, BREEAM, WEEL, Fitwel, Green Globes, DGNB, HQE, Green Star, and Sustainable Assessment Rating Systems in Higher Education such as SAQ, Penn State Indicators Report Approach, STARS, ASSC, Greening Universities Toolkit was examined and based on literature review obtained from books, websites, and articles. Explanation and discussion of the difference between sustainable and green building for proper understanding of the concept of what university campuses needs.
