Abstract
Expression of glutamine synthetase (GS) in normal liver is restricted to pericentrivenular hepatocytes. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for GS has emerged as a key marker of beta-catenin-activated hepatocellular adenoma, focal nodular hyperplasia, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
