Abstract
Researchers are now actively involved in developing new technologies to address the increasing challenges in detecting fatal accidents. Collision effects are simulated by modelling rear-end collisions by considering different factors such as vehicle location, direction, speed, distance between vehicles, relative speed, and so on. To examine and analyze a wide range of potential accident scenarios in vehicular networks, open-source simulators are used. The proposed safety technique is mainly developed to lower the chance of accidents and reduce the consequences. The proposed technique predicts the areas where collisions are likely to occur as well as the time taken to avoid collisions. The proposed approach can detect the cause of accidents with 93.1% accuracy with the help of parameterization technique. The proposed safety system can save lives and decrease the effect of possible disasters in the remaining 6.9% of instances.
