Abstract

The resultant radial, circumferential, and meridional pressures and anchorage forces of a three-layer tendon pattern for a shallow prestressed dome are presented. A constant horizontal or inplane tendon spacing is used in the analysis. The anchorage forces are given in terms of the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the containment vessel. Typical results of the variation of pressures and forces are presented.
