Abstract
The aim of present study to formulate, evaluate and to check the wound healing activity of newly prepared polyherbal formulation (ointment) .Herbal ointment containing hydrochloric extracts of plants Psorolea corylifalia, Achryanthes aspera ,was formulated as ointment and the hydro alcoholic extract was prepared by maceration method. These Formulations were evaluated for the following parameters: pH, Spread ability, grittiness, skin irritation study, stability. The wound healing activity is assessed by the rate of wound contraction, Period of epithelisation and skin breaking strength.
