Abstract
A large-eddy model has been used to simulate the dry atmospheric boundary layer across the range of stabilities between free convection and neutral shear flow. Results for the similarity coefficients, Ai, Bi and Ci are presented. The results are also used to evaluate the performance of a local mixing length model, and of two modified exchange coefficient models which attempt to incorporate some non-local effects.
