Abstract
The effects of cobalt(II) naphthenate (and other metal naphthenates), temperature, time, some possible interferents, excess of reagent, light and oxygen on the application of NN′-di(2-naphthyl)phenylene-1,4-diamine as a reagent for the determination of organic peroxides were investigated. Of twelve peroxides with different reactivities, three (di-tert-butyl peroxide, cumyl peroxide and succinic peroxide) did not react under the conditions examined.
