Abstract

This research puposes to evaluate the impact of fintech on financial inclusion in Indonesia with a focus on the use of digital payment services. Primary data was collected through surveys involving users of digital payment services and secondary data was obtained from reports and publications related to financial inclusion in Indonesia. The research results show that the use of digital payment services through fintech has made a positive contribution to financial inclusion in Indonesia. Fintech has enabled access to financial services for those previously underserved by the traditional banking system. Digital payment services enable easier, faster and safer financial transactions, and provide an affordable alternative to conventional payment methods. However, there are several challenges that need to be overcome to increase financial inclusion through fintech in Indonesia. These challenges include financial literacy, access to technological infrastructure, and transaction security. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide input for the government, regulators and industry players in developing policies and strategies to increase financial inclusion through fintech in Indonesia.
