Document analysis was used in this study. A total of 59 articles published in the SCOPUS database between 2000 and 2016 are included and analyzed in this study. In order to form the database for the study, the Microsoft Excel program was used. Based on this basic aim, articles were evaluated in terms of year, country, number of authors, method, sample, journal, research topics and the universities of the authors. The results show that studies on Filial therapy were conducted more frequently in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, parents and children were predominantly included as participants in the studies. Results also showed that the quantitative method was frequently used in the studies. It was also revealed that studies were mostly implemented in the United States. In order to prepare more comprehensive content analysis studies for the area of Filial therapy, it is recommended that other databases be analyzed as well.
