Ponte - Oct 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 10 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.10.39 Abstract:This study has been prepared to determine the scientific research trends related to personal guidance and more specially it is a content analysis evaluation of previous studies on personal guidance. This research is a descriptive study based on screening models. The research data was obtained by the document review method whereby 3 postgraduate theses and 87 articles published between 2010-2014, obtained from the Board of Higher Education National Thesis Archives and from the ULAKBIM (National Academic Network and Information Center) Database by TUBITAK were examined. The data obtained from the research studies has been classified through 10 different parameters, the results of which are displayed in the frequency and percentage tables in this study. It has been determined that the studies were mainly journal article published in 2010 and the majority were published in \'Turkish Psychological Counseling and Guidance�. Most of the time experimental studies with quantitative methods were exercised, as scales were mostly used for data collection, work groups were mostly selected from the suitable articles fort his research, predominantly had two authors, most of the authors were from Hacettepe University, the articles mostly contained 4 tables and they used 20 to 29 references. \r\nKeywords: Personal guidance, psychology, psychological counseling and guidance, guidance, education.
