Abstract

In order to enable front-line commanders to conduct accurate, scientific, comprehensive and timely camouflage effects test on targets and important facilities after camouflage operations, this paper mainly focuses on the operations of the human visual attention mechanism in camouflage evaluation. According to the related theories of visual cognitive psychology and physiology, Python is used to make relevant modifications based on the algorithm of Itti Gaussian pyramid model of human visual attention mechanism and to determine the shape, color, texture, and so on of the luminance feature map to merge into a visual salient map. Genetic algorithm, inhibition of return mechanism and proximity principle are used to establish the attention focus shift model, and combined with manual testing for training. The experiment results show that the algorithm can evaluate the camouflage effect effectively, and it has the advantages of fast calculation speed, accurate evaluation position and strong operability.
