Abstract
Some problems concerning the choice of information most useful for control in complex systems are considered. To decide what information should be transmitted between subsystems at different levels of evolution in the system some criteria for evaluation of information are proposed. A procedure for choosing information for optimization of stochastic automata system is put forward.
