Frederick is assistant professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University, where he teaches courses on the New Testament and the Book of Mormon. He received a BA in Classics and an MA in comparative studies from Brigham Young University and a PhD from Claremont Graduate University in the history of Christianity.
