Abstract
ABSTRACT The ongoing evaluation of electronic resource subscriptions is crucial. This article will provide an overview of the new process implemented at Mississippi State University Libraries for evaluating e-resource subscriptions. Quantitative and qualitative data was gathered from usage statistics and via a survey to inform data-guided decisions regarding subscription renewals. Additionally, discovery platform CloudSource+ from SirsiDynix provided analysis reports showing the amount of open access content available in each database. The author hopes to provide other librarians with a guide for making data-informed decisions on subscription renewals, to maintain the e-resources their faculty and students need for teaching and research.
