Abstract
Under the auspices of the UK Chemical Nuclear Data Committee (UKCNDC) a number of extensive decay data libraries are currently available for calculations associated with the UK nuclear power programme: 1. (1) fission product decay data for 855 nuclides (UKFPDD-2). 2. (2) activation product decay data for 91 nuclides (UKPADD-1). 3. (3) heavy element decay data for 125 nuclides (UKHEDD-1). The contents of these libraries are summarised and a brief description is given of the data retrieval techniques . At regular intervals the status of the data is re-assessed to determine whether a particular recommended library needs to be improved. Work is currently in hand to update the contents of the fission product and activation product decay data libraries (to be labelled UKFPDD-3 and UKPADD-2, respectively).
