Abstract
State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has a student population of about 23,099 students. The majority of students who are assumed to each student bringing a motor vehicle wheel 2 is mainly a motor. Parking capacity at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is not proportional to the number of motor vehicles. In this study, researchers evaluated the characteristics of the park consists of accumulated parking, parking volume, duration of parking, turn over, capacity, index, and discuss effective parking patterns. The design of the system is made using OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis Design) with system development method used is a RAD (Rapid Application Development) and using the notation UML (Unified Modeling Language). Results from this research that the accumulation of parking at yield is 36.5, the volume of effective parking is 07.30 and 15:30, the average parking duration is 5 hours, turnover in automobile and motorcycle struck at 11:30 to 12:30 is at 0.92 and 1.77, the capacity of parking for cars and motorcycles, namely 91 and 781 units, the index increased parking at the beginning of the term, effective pattern for car parking which is parallel and angle 900. Expected results of the evaluation and design of this system can be petrified campus to manage into a regular parking. Keywords: parking, UIN Jakarta, RAD, UML
