Abstract
The Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament has amended the Draft law on Provisions on therapeutic alliance, informed consent and treatment and transmitted it to the Senate. Draft law A.C. 2350 aims at organizing the choices of the players according to specific and predetermined procedure in the context of that is linked to the category of passive euthanasia, and on what conditions, of the refusal of treatment. The terms euthanasia and suicide in the political and social debate tied to the draft legislation on advance treatment directives, do not appear in the Italian Criminal Code due to mentioned semantic and phenomenological variance of the words, which generates undoubted difficulties of standardizing them. The choice that the current draft legislation is aimed at with respect to directives consists of putting the technique of procedural exoneration into practice, from the viewpoint of a criminal law intervention.
