Abstract
Introduction EurSafety Health-net is a major Dutch-German cross-border network to promote infection prevention and patient safety. Representatives of hospitals, local health authorities, nursing homes and general practitioners cooperate in regional networks in order to align infection prevention strategies. As a sub-project, an euregional quality certificate is awarded to nursing homes that successfully implement a defined set of infection prevention strategies.
