Abstract

The continuous transformation of the global market poses challenges for national economies, requiring the formation and strengthening of integration processes. To analyze the development of socio-economic relations within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the authors conducted a retrospective analysis, statistical and structural analysis of key indicators, and assessed prospects for further cooperation. The study confirmed the hypothesis of insufficient competitiveness of national economies, weak foreign trade relations, and an inconsistent regulatory environment that limits export opportunities. The authors recommend shifting the focus of cooperation towards mutual support, ensuring socio-economic and demographic security, and maintaining living standards. The article identifies the main problems of interaction between EAEU member countries and suggests directions for expanding integration ties to increase the effectiveness of cooperation. The authors propose transitioning to a new level of socio-economic development for the EAEU.
