Abstract

The article discusses the ethical issues associated with educational work in the family. Philosophical aspects of understanding the child, family, upbringing, education, ensuring the rights of the child are presented. The child is a full member of the family. This position is the basis for a proper understanding of the process of family upbringing and its implementation in practice. The child must develop through the family to a full human life. This involves not only the physical, intellectual or material development of a person, but also the development through which the child becomes a good, happy, real person. It isemphasized that the formation of a child in the family is important for all social, state and national life. The role of parents who must be aware of their mission and be ready to raise their children is defined. You can not treat the child as a means of their own happiness, which is a humiliation of the child’s personality. Real upbringing and real work with the child in the family should not be replaced by information, instruction or prohibitions. Modern approaches to raising a child in the family are summarized. The role of philosophy, which is the theoretical basis of family pedagogy and the process of personality education, is determined. Classical, realistic philosophy emphasizes the personal status of human existence, teaches that the family must know the truth about themselves in order to properly organize interpersonal relationships and properly perform their educational work. This work involves not only the development of the child, but also the development of all family members.
