Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the ethical aspects of gene editing in biology and medicine. It examines the complex moral issues that arise in the context of the use of modern genetic engineering technologies to change genetic information in humans and other organisms. The main focus is on issues of safety, justice, respect for human dignity, as well as the consequences for the environment and biodiversity. The article emphasizes the need for a reasoned and responsible approach to gene editing, taking into account high standards of ethics and legal norms, in order to ensure the development of this field for the benefit of man and society.
