Abstract

This article presents the reference on which is based a research (in progress) on the digital devices signed by Non-Gouvernement Organizations (NGOs). This analysis has as an empirical focus three levels of the digital device: the sites signed by NGOs on the Web; the production context, based on the markets which finance this media (in this case, the NGOs themselves); and the production routines thought from the standpoint of the production agencies that produce these sites. In terms of communication as an academic field, this is an investigation into the discourse in its relationship with the reception field formed by the social agents (NGOs and media services, professional and nonprofessional) situated in the media production. The general purpose is to identify the signification field of the NGOs on the Web.
