Abstract

The CASA (Carnegie-Ames-Stanford-Approach) model is a regional or global Net Primary Productivity (NPP) estimation model based on the view of resource balance. It is an energy utilization model driven by remote sensing, meteorology, vegetation and soil type data. In this paper, the Landsat data and CASA (Carnegie-Ames-Stanford) model are combined to calculate the average net ecosystem productivity (NEP) in downtown Xuzhou in 2016, which is 17.525gc. m−2 month−1.
