Abstract

The first approximation substantiate is given for the application of the theory of effective material to determine the effective elastic modulus of the FDM structure using the combined use of numerical analysis in a CAE environment and a full-scale testing. A specialized module for evaluating the effective properties of inhomogeneous materials of the russian Fidesys software system allowed us to obtain the values of effective elastic modulus for the FDM structure filling the volume under study. Full-scale tests of specimens, the printing pattern of which corresponds to a digital model in the automated environment of the Fidesys system, confirmed the results obtained.
