Abstract
Based on a polarized uniform circular array(UCA), estimation of direction of arrival(DOA) and polarization is studied. The phase ambiguity of existing algorithm is analysed. According to the characteristics of array manifold vector, the embattle conditions is corrected. Using the array manifold vector relationship between electric dipoles and magnetic dipoles, the least squares solution to the signal polarization parameters and DOA is given. Without spectral peak searching and parameter matching, this method has advantages of the small amount of calculation and high precision. Finally, Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
