Abstract
AbstractThe Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center is utilizing computer models to estimate emissions from the industrial wastewater treatment facility. As environmental monitoring and reporting requirements become more stringent, engineers will need to employ more sophisticated computer models capable of providing better predictions of chemical releases from industrial wastewater treatment processes. The air emission (WATER8) and air dispersion (ISC‐ST3) models are examples of two models that are being effectively employed in conjunction to improve the predictive capability of engineers, improve the reliability of releases to the environment, and improve the quantification of ambient air chemical concentrations surrounding industrial wastewater treatment processes.
