Abstract

It has been estimated energy values that are transferred as crystalline defects during the mechanical alloying process on powder of Cu-Cr and Cu-Mo systems and energy dissipated by heat flow of vials in SPEX mill. The results indicates that the transferred energy values to metallic powder for creating crystalline defects is very below (around 2 magnitude order less) in reference to the energy value given by the mill.
