Establishment of molecular differential diagnostic (MDD) technology for detection of common respiratory viruses

Abstract

To provide rapid laboratory evidence for diagnosis of respiratory infection and help diagnose accurately and reduce the spread of disease, so that the patients can be diagnosed and treated early. Thirteen kinds of respiratory viruses were detected by using Genaco's MDD technology. All the specimens were detected, the total positive rate was 100%; the sensitivity of the method was 10e2 (pfu/ml). The MDD system can distinguish the 13 respiratory viruses, which helps diagnosis of respiratory viral infection.
