Abstract
Background: There is a lack of models reflecting the tumour microenvironment (TME) at both structural and cellular level in pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma (PDAC). We propose an engineered model of PDAC that summarises the architectural and biochemical cues of PDAC and that could serve as a powerful tool for capturing cell-microenvironment interactions relevant to cancer progression and treatment.
