Abstract

The essential oil of the aerial parts of the endemic Greek species Thamnosciadium junceum was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Seventy-one compounds representing 98.9% of the total oil were identifed. The major constituents were limonene (33.5%), (E)-isomyristicin (15.4%) and terpinolene (9.0%).
