Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aimed to delineate the key entities and interconnections essential for updating a smart library while proposing a model to sustain its effectiveness. Utilizing scholarly literature, it employed descriptive content analysis and cross-case analysis to derive a theoretical framework. The article introduces a triangular model comprising vertices of “librarian,” “service,” and “resource,” emphasizing the pivotal role of technology in interlinking these elements. This comprehensive research delineates crucial dimensions for a smart library, providing a model beneficial to librarians and stakeholders. It significantly contributes to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of smart libraries in user service delivery.
