Abstract

Humans often question the meaning of life as they live through it. In general, everyone considers that his life means something to himself or to others, however the exoteric meaning is within a person, and requires its own art of interpretation. The purpose of this research is to interpret life for humans. The meaning of one's life in the philosophical view of Taoism is aimed towards an attitude of harmony with nature. This harmony with nature becomes a formation of thought that can change many things as a whole, marking the life forms that create and maintain harmony in the meaning of life. Life in the view of Tao is in harmony with the universe. Everything on earth has energy and unity with each other. Tao views that every human being will not waste his life, as long as the person is still living his life, then that person life is valuable. In the end, living life is the meaning of life itself.
