Abstract

We present a case of eruptive xanthoma in a man living with HIV after changing antiretroviral therapy. People living with HIV are at increased risk of dyslipidemia due to the infection itself and the use of antiretroviral medications. Prompt recognition of eruptive xanthomas may allow for timely diagnosis of metabolic disorders and dyslipidemia in patients being treated for HIV infection .
