Abstract
Until now Cheiracanthium mildei L. Koch, 1864 was recorded only from two sites in the eastern part of Germany. Bites of this species are of medical significance, but our knowledge of their effects on humans is often poor. The present paper describes the bite symptoms.

Mittlerweile sind Meldungen in den Tages medien seltener (Thieme 2016) und zur Thematik auch eine ganze Reihe seriöser Veröffentlichungen erschienen (Foradori et al 2005, Knoflach 2009, Knoflach & Horak 2010, Muster et al 2008, Nentwig et al 2013, Schmitt & Malten 2007, Vet ter et al 2006, Zimmermann 2015).
