Abstract
Correction to: Eye (2001) 15, 565–567 In this editorial, I stated incorrectly that the ‘full-time specialist ophthalmic pathologist post’ in Glasgow had been ‘abolished entirely’. On the retirement of the Professor of Ophthalmic Pathology in Glasgow, the post vacated was advertised as a Senior Lecturer position, supported by Greater Glasgow Health Board (GGHB) and the University of Glasgow's Department of Ophthalmology, but there were no applicants.
