Abstract
Semi-classical formulae are given for the equilibrated and nonequilibrated parts of the b-c differential multiplicity for a sequential three-body reaction X(a, b)Y(c)Z under the hypothesis that the nucleus Y is excited to levels that lie in the continuum region.
